2020 Humans of Capstone
Humans of Capstone. All Stories Matter, All Humans Matter
The humans of Capstone are the untold stories of Providence College Global Studies Capstone Seminar of 2020. With our final semester cut short, so have our thesis projects that many of us had worked on for over a year. Through themes of food security, women’s rights, language, nonviolence, and refugee rights, our class was able to create systems of social infrastructure that we had wanted to see in our community. Although these stories may be untold, we hope to shine some light on the messages we had hoped to share.
In harnessing the trust we developed as a global studies community, the 2020 senior Global Studies class are leading Togetherness, a project committed to fostering a deeper sense of resilience to cultivate hope in uncertain times. This project aims to remain true to our commitments to build community and solidarity as we work to create a better and more just world.
